History

The Brabanter Chicken is a very old Dutch breed not the same as the Belgian Brabant which comes mainly in Quail colouring with a single comb. The Brabanter Chicken has a similarity to the Appenzeller or the Dutch Owl Beard (Uilebaard). Shown mainly in Chamois colouration. Available large and bantam.
